Authorities have issued tsunami advisories, cautioning of waves up to one meter high along the Pacific coast of Kyushu and Shikoku islands. In Miyazaki prefecture, located on Kyushu, waves measuring 20 centimeters in height have already been observed, according to NHK. Fortunately, there have been no immediate reports of major damage.
