Suryakumar Yadav has been appointed as the captain of the Indian team for the T20I series against Sri Lanka, with Shubman Gill serving as his vice-captain for the three matches. Meanwhile, Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli are included in the ODI squad against Sri Lanka, with Sharma taking on the role of captain. Gill is also the vice-captain for the ODI series. Jasprit Bumrah and Ravindra Jadeja have been rested for the series.
